The Kinette club of Melfort is a growing, thriving group of women. We work hard to provide assistance to various community groups. Our goal is to serve the greatest needs of the community. We meet once a month for our regular meetings as well as one executive meeting per month. We try to get together socially as much as possible. This spring we enjoyed a joint Kin picnic as well as a weekend of Kin camping at Tobin lake. The past year has been successful in increasing our membership so we have a lot of new helping hands. I got involved with the club a number of years ago as a way of meeting more people and getting more involved with the community. The friendships I have made are some of the strongest in my life and I am grateful for the support that comes with being part of a group. We are all busy women with jobs and families so an evening out, even for a meeting, is a welcome break from day to day life. We are continually working toward developing new fundraising ideas as well as expanding our existing projects. Our group is always searching for members and would love to include you. Our door is always open, feel free to contact any member or just drop by a meeting (on the second Tuesday of each month at the Ag Society) to check out the fun you may be missing.
